Amidst all the festivities of this time of year, and before returning to work, school, and the “usual routine”, I invite you to take some time and reflect both on the year that has just ended and the one that is commencing now.
I like to take some time and choose one thing from the year that is ending that I am proud of; and one that I would like to let go of or leave behind in the old year. Then I choose one thing that I’d like to invite into my life in the new year.
For the past couple of years we have done this as a family, creating a little ritual out of it: Each of us write down what we want to leave behind on New Year’s Eve and then throwing it into a fire or burning it. Then on the first day of the year we write down what we would like to invite in for the new year and share it with one another. You could also create a piece of artwork if you choose, or simply stick this what you’ve written up somewhere to remind you of your intention throughout the year. Having these intentions is powerful as it helps you to be clear and move towards what you’ve chosen to focus on. The next step is to TAKE ACTION towards your intentions. Even small daily or weekly actions, when done consistently, add up to make that intention a reality. With this in mind, I have some upcoming events that may be helpful to you:
1) Reboot & Reset Workshop:
What better way to start the new year than by joining the Reboot & Reset Workshop?

You will find the process enlightening and enjoyable as you “befriend your nervous system”.
If one of your intentions for your year is to take better care of yourself then this is a great way to learn the best ways to do that and begin to practice them together, in a supportive community of like-minded people. It's a chance to learn evidence-based techniques that can help you embrace a greater sense of well-being.
